H E L P !! I am in such a quagmire. Please let me know your thoughts... Im pretty sure everybody knows that I go to the doctor every 4 weeks for injections in my neck, shoulders, and knees from a couple of injuries covered by Workers Comp. Im also pretty sure everybody knows that the last injection included something Im allergic to...morphine. I went into anaphylactic shock, stopped breathing and damn near died. I called the WC adjuster-case worker and found out I cant change doctors cause I used my one time change doctor when I moved to MI from FL. Heres my problem: 1. Even tho the Dr nearly killed me, I like the Dr and staff...but Im really hesitant about going back cause I dont want them to finish me off. 2. I cant go to another Dr without WC approval, or paying for the treatments myself. Cant afford that option. 3. Would you involve an attorney, and if so would you ask for one who covers WC or medical malpractice.
