H1 Transfer from IT to Non-IT company? OPT/CPT Blast Resume to 2500+ employers via bit.ly/18niNwb Hello all,This is a hypothetical question. Yet I would appreciate if you could answer. Im about to complete my Masters in A(Not IT). Since most CORE companies arent ready to sponsor for H1, so I am forced to take the route to a consultancy. Lets say that I choose to work in SAS and with some luck I get a H1 visa. My question here is 1.Is it possible to transfer the H1 petitioned from SAS to a core company in case I am offered a job? 2.I was told since my core A is in a different domain compared to SAS, companies wont be able to do H1 transfer.
