HANDS UP DONT SHOOT! Well this what happened! Might need witness. lol 880 feet from light off 36 avenue on Ironwood before 60 Highway. I was approximately 340 feet with turn signal to get and left hand turn lane there was 3 cars in front of a slow truck, police officer was behind a slow truck. I came over with approximately 280 feet before the stop lights. I saw the officer behind slow car and pulled over to get in left lane. then I noticed in the rearview mirror after I slowed and came to a stop. Then seen the police officer behind me on his motorcycle. He asked me if me if I knew why I was being pulled over? I said no he said it was unsafe lane change. He informed me that I came over 5 feet in front of the slow truck I asked him how far was he behind a slow truck he said 90 feet+20 feet for the truck. (that makes it 110 feet) he said he slammed on his brakes from hitting the truck I had just cut off, I informed him that there was at lest six truck links between slow truck and furthest car north, when I came over. He said I was 5 feet from the front of the bumper of the truck. I asked him if I he was110 feet how did he notice it was 5 feet? He said he got to the right side of the vehicle and look at the shadow? 😳 (still had time to hit his brakes, save his bike, find the sun, find the shadow on the pavement an still go around the slow truck. An pull behind me at the intersection, before the bridge turning left on Highway 60 heading westbound.) my speed on the ticket was 35 in a 40. I feel I have the right to drive an maintain speed and come over if theres ample space to come over to another line. I dont see how it doesnt make sense except morning frustration with a police officer. #NOTPAYING
