HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY ANNE JOHNSON!! Anne Johnson was the guest of honor today at the September birthday party for residents at Ella Grasso Gardens in Putnam with over 50 people in attendance. Anne received accolades from Activities Director Robin Lessard and Property Manager Lynn Bergeron, who presented Anne with a giant card, a bouquet and a money tree for her many trips to the casino. Annes favorite games at the casino are “the penny machines”. A proclamation from Governor Dan Malloy was also read aloud and presented to Anne. Also celebrating birthdays at the party were residents Ruth Stedman, Blanche Czernicki, Normand Turrenne, Cecile Gendron, Josephine Glass and Marc Coderre. Joan Bridges also celebrates a September birthday but was absent from the party. Annes actual birthday was Friday, September 19th and she could have had a special party to celebrate 100 years, but instead she asked to celebrate with everyone else during the monthly birthday party.
