HAPPY DIWALI, DEEPAVALI AND KALI POOJA. May the Festival of Lights - TopicsExpress

HAPPY DIWALI, DEEPAVALI AND KALI POOJA. May the Festival of Lights bring Happiness, Gaiety and Prosperity to you and your families. Last year, my wife and I celebrated Diwali with my daughter’s family in Sheffield, UK. This year, my son, daughter in law and grandson have come down from the USA to Newport on Tay, Scotland, UK, where my daughter’s family lives now. We are looking forward to the entire family celebrating Diwali together for the first time since 1995. With the family split between three continents, family meets, which last a week or so every year, are looked forward to by the entire family, especially the three grandchildren. Diwali for the children means New clothes, Gifts, Sweets, Lights and Crackers, not necessarily in the same order! This year, family reunion takes precedence over everything else for my family. The Hindu festivals are celebrations of triumph of good over the evil. On this auspicious day, I wish everyone loads of joy, and, above all, fulfillment of all their wishes. Happy Diwali!
