Thanks for the reminder!) PLEASE READ!!! Why you should take a break after the 10-day cleanse! This is for those ABUSING the cleanse for quick weight loss by doing rounds back-to-back without any breaks in between! I dont recommend the FULL cleanse be longer than two weeks (14 days) straight. You dont want to run the risk of slowing your metabolism so its important to take a break from the full cleanse and re-introduce whole foods into your diet. A break would be several weeks (3-4 weeks). However, two green smoothies plus a high-protein meal per day is very healthy and can be done for life. So, lets say youve been off the 10-day cleanse for 3-4 weeks, and are about to re-start another round, consider adding protein and some light workouts to take it up another level. Also, once you get rid of toxins and waste during your first 10-day cleanse, you will most likely lose LESS the next time you do the full cleanse. And remember, by doing the FULL cleanse longer than 14 days, you run the risk of slowing your metabolism which will just make it harder to lose weight in the long run! If you need to learn how to lose weight AFTER the 10 days, the new 10-day green smoothie book has a chapter (chapter 6) on that... It will tell you over 200 foods to eat/avoid in order to lose weight...additional detox methods to help you lose weight and more. Just trying to do the full cleanse over and over back to back is not the answer... This 10-day cleanse is a JUMPSTART to weight loss... After the 10-day cleanse, losing 1-2 pounds PER WEEK is normal and healthy! Be realistic and be safe everyone. Be smart about detoxing, using it as an extreme diet, is not the answer to long-term permanent weight loss. And one last thing, for those folks who say Im so hungry, DRINK A SMOOTHIE or EAT A SNACK...this isnt a starvation diet. You dont get any awards for staving yourself. Theres no reason to go hungry!
