HAPPY HALLOWEEN, M4ERS!!! (And remember--no hiding your candy allowed!) How is everyone planning to celebrate this spooky day film wise? Is there a particular horror film youd like to recommend to others? Perhaps a horror/suspense/thriller film that you like a lot, but havent touched on before here? Ive been in love with the horror genre ever since I was a wee kid (no bad dreams for me) and Ive talked many times about my love for classy, stylish movies like The Innocents and The Haunting and Rosemarys Baby, but one I also greatly enjoy is Candyman, with Tony Todd as the gravely voiced, hook- handed myth come to murderous ghostly life. What frightening fun! Directed by Bernard Rose. I also enjoy the sequel, Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh even more, directed by Bill Condon. Ive never seen the third outing, Day of the Dead. --Name the horror film youd most like to recommend to M4, please. Any other Candyman fans? LETS SAY IT TOGETHER: Candyman, Candyman, Candyman, Candyman.... (Is it four times or five times you say his name and he is summoned? Wait--what was that noise?)
