HAPPY! HAPPY HAPPY!! I feel awesome! Day after first chemo/dreamo treatment, the double Wowee both Taxol and Carboplatin. I was up at 5:00 yesterday and did and 30 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes of Tai Chi. I had gathered my goodies the night before. I took a long hot shower. Phyllis and I left for Indy at 7:00. Its such a pretty drive through the rolling hills and its so green this year! We talked about our blessings. At 8:30 I signed in and at 10 my port was going in. I had to remind folks several times that it needed to go in the left side this time b/c last time it became terribly infected and may have have compromised the vein they wanted to use. The surgeon seemed a bit miffed but took a time out his words, while they rearranged the furniture. Now on the left side and lower on my chest by and inch than the one before, it was left accessed for chemo. It was so great to see my nurse friends again. I love them all so much. While they you glad to see me too...you know... I brought and healthy me photos in and set them up where I could see them. I scented my eye mask with lavender. I nibbled on fresh, organic cherries. I had a peice of quartz crystal and one of amethyst on my tummy. I hung around my neck the beautiful healing bead chain that Doe Hart made for me 2 years ago. Maggie, my chemo nurse of the day had me put on gloves to bless and reiki my taxol bag and then the carboplatin bag. As soon as the drip began, I put on my headphones went to the beautiful places of acceptance and allowing. The timing, my selection of songs, the feelings they evoked, all of it was perfect. I bounced out of bed this morning after lovin of Libby of course, at 6:00. Used my essential oils and made the coffee. I feel Awesome!
