We are starting off the new year with a cloudless sky, 42 degrees and a slight breeze with a wind chill of 37 degrees. The inflow is slowing down due to the absence of rain in the last week. Although it has been dry the past week, I do like to look at our blessings as we start the new year... The lake level is 12.75 higher than last year on this day. We have come 60 in just the past month. We have had more than 31 more rain to date over last year. We have 201,741 acre feet of water more than last year, which is 4% more than where we were last year at this time. Best yet...we have more rain coming in the forecast!!!! I have also included a comparison of the CA reservoir capacities dated 01/01/2014 and 01/01/2014 for comparison. With that, I wish you the best beginning of your new year!!!
