HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE! We hope you have a WONDERFUL day & a BLESSED 2015! Bluescreek Farm Meats (and everyone else inside the North Market) will be CLOSED today (January 1, 2015) ... but back to NORMAL hours on Friday. The holidays are always a crazy/fun time... but we are very excited to be back to a normal week. ;-) It has been a bitter sweet year for Cheryl & David... they have said goodbye to many people (employees, cherished customers who have passed on, and family). But they have also been blessed with a growing business, new faces at the North Market, and an expanding family (a new son-in-law & a beautiful grandson that Cheryl loves showing off). After over 20 years in business you can expect to have customers pass away every year, but when you see these people, and interact with them every daily/weekly/monthly basis, you build a relationship. A relationship that is close to your heart. In many cases we see our regular customers more often than we see our close friends! Cheryl & David have always said their customers are more like family, and over the years Ive seen it. From the occasional dinner party at a customers house or just deep conversation that Cheryl or David somehow make time for when they have a million other things waiting on them. And when one of those people is no longer living its just as difficult as if you were losing a friend. To all of our friends that have passed away over the years... several of you were in terrible pain, and we are happy you are no longer suffering, but it still felt too soon. Some of you went well before your time. We truly look forward to seeing all of you again. You will forever been in our hearts. To their families, many of you we see regularly, and some cant come in often because its too difficult (dont worry, we understand), but seeing you is a constant reminder of the love and joy they brought us. Thank you for being such a wonderful force in their life. They loved you very much. With love and wishes of good things in 2015, Bluescreek Farm Meats (Jamie & Family)
