HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!! i hosted dinner for 16 people, family and friends, it was great company and food. Tonight Jake Riviera told me my grandad Billy Valentine, who played stand up bass in a jazz band in the 1940s was part of a rhythm section that Charlie Watts loved. I never knew that!!! I mean I knew he played bass, but not that he was known by any one. Weird how the threads of our lives cross and combine and can surprise us.
