HAPPY TUESDAY! HAPPY DAY 2 for many of you! How are you doing today? This is the daily check-in post, so feel free to ask questions here too!! TODAYS TIP: this topic is important enough to share at least once every month! Yes, peeing and pooping is just that important LOL I want to chat about detox symptoms... They are listed in Ch 5, please review them there. Be aware that detox symptoms are normal, expected and a sign of progress. Remember this is NOT a diet..its a DETOX and progress (feeling better or losing weight) happens as your body RELEASES TOXINS! So, this is where peeing and pooping become so critical! You must drink a lot of water to flush out toxins when you pee. Frequent urination is a sign of progress as many of us have swelling and inflammation in the body and have a lot of water weight to get rid of. Also, you must keep your bowels moving 1-3 times PER DAY to remove toxins via your poop. Have you ever noticed right after a heavy poop, you feel SO MUCH better...its because you just released a lot of toxins and waste from the body! So pooping is very important during a detox. Chapter 7 also has 5 additional detox methods that can accelerate the release of toxins in the body. They are optional but feel free to incorporate these at any time, before and after the cleanse.
