HAPPY WOMEN’S DAY 1-MOTHER It is true that I have come from you Discerning the worth of earth for me, A magic of wonder of my creation you are the axis around which I move, exploring me in this strange land Little by little this veiled universe stands poised making me wise. You are rare and unique like gems on river- banks discerning the light of worth, A deathless love Of Eternity twinkling ever. 2- BELOVED My dearest companion of spring Diligently with no other thought but love, The smiles and tears I lived upon You were the magnet I was iron. 3-WIFE We are here in our home Smell spring and winter nestling in the breeze, we have added One brick over another Our children twirl around us They are sun and the moon they dance on our palm Warm and splendid! Equal like stars uniting rays in brief hours Our love never proved false though old, So true to hold each other in wintry days We lean like grass in the wind of time Broken lose as memory fades fast, Quietly we cry within never to part Crawl to each other brightening our heart. 4- FRIEND When I stumble over a rock You amaze me With your prayers, When tears trickle from eyes You wipe it out in your hand, When we grow older, Stronger we are in love We never change When we are black as night When we glow as the day, We are the kindest stars In our tenderly nights Brightening us never to depart. Strange slaves we are of love God is in the heaven we will come and go if you are tree I am your flower. 5 Now we live in a world of eagle’s flight Relations fall like feathers from birds, We belittle us being dark hearted in love With no repentance for crimes in day light Girls are crushed to death in monstrous hands, The milk of mother is split apart in horror Implores a vacuity of wisdom of fallen stars.
