HARBINGER OF FASCISM AND DESPOTISM One of my friends asked me: When Iam criticising all parties and neutral, then I will not support any party and also will not vote. Irrespective of my inner proclivity, inclination, I have to write what is good for society whether it suits or hurts any party or person. Indeed, while casting my vote, I will choose lesser evil. Hence what I want to say is that one may cast vote to his/her preferred candidate or party. But never show support, allegiance to anybody or party blindly. What is more disconcerting that intelligentsia are becoming blinder supporter? Question arises who were defrauded in chit fund scam- not only illiterate or gullible but it is educated, intellectual people. Who were followers of baba Nityananda or bapu Asharam- not only innocent or credulous but it is erudite, intellectual people. When intellectual masses without any analysis, introspection, become blind follower of any person- say Modi, or Rahul or Nabin, it marks the harbinger of fascism. What happened to two girls in maharashtra who raised question regarding State sponsored bandh after death of Bal Thackery. My request is that one should vote that person whom he thinks fittest or lesser evil but never follow any one blindly. Intolerance of criticism doesn’t augur well for our fledgling democracy .
