HARDCORE JEET KUNE DO CHINESE GUNG FU ASSOCIATION [color=#ff0000]Hardcore Jeet Kune Do was created by Sifu Lamar Davis II in hopes to preserve the origional teachings of Lee Jun Fan (BRUCE LEE). We believe that having a full understanding of all eras that Bruce Lee went through in developing his fighting method, they were the Seattle period where Jun Fan Gung Fu was taught by Bruce Lee which was really just a modified version of Wing Chun, then the Oakland period came about where Mater Bruce Lee started to really develop what is now known as Jeet Kune Do and lastly was the L.A Chinatown period where he fine tuned his Jeet Kune Do. All eras were very effective and here at Hardcore JKD we think it is very important that to fully understand and be the best practitioner possible one must have knowledge of ALL periods to see how the art evoled. It is very hard to find the true teachings of Bruce Lees Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do and we strive to preserve it and teach ONLY what Bruce Lee taught to his students. Jeet Kune Do is meant to be Non-classical, Direct and Devastating witout being telegraphic. We use many principles such as Economy of Motion, Longest Weapon to Nearest Target, Power Side Forward very effective.
