HAS ANYONE SEEN GOD? I must puzzle the heretics with this: Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu,and seventy elders of Israel ascended;and THEY SAW the God of Israel …Yet He did not raise His hand against the leaders of the Israelites;THEY BEHELD GOD …Exodus 24: 9 - 11 Which GOD did they see? The only true GOD? which the blessed and only Ruler, the king of those reigning and Lord of those ruling, will show in his own time, the only one who has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, WHOM NO HUMAN has seen NOR CAN see … 1 Timothy 6: 15 - 16 NO ONE HAS SEEN GOD YET AT ANY TIME. john 1: 18. This is clear that the God of Israel seen is no other person than the preexisting Word, who is said to be Gods image! John 1: 1 cf Col 1: 15 and Hebrews 1: 3. The word is classified as God in the Bible because he shared similar qualities with the only true God - see how the old testament calls him God!
