HATHA YOGA AND THE HUMAN BODY I was taught that Hatha meant physic or human body. Everything related to our health and wellness comes under this yoga. To my understanding, the basic principles in this practice are nutrition, asana and breath-control. Nutrition, include knowing how to prepare well-balanced meals. Understanding the nutritional value of the six essential nutrients helps. Asana practice include, knowing asana and how to group them together to create different series or systems to accommodate the need. Ghosh’s system is perfect for this objective. Breath-control include, mastering the ability to breathe easy and regulated breaths during asana practice. To understand and be comfortable in the in and out breaths will make it significant.
