HAVE IT YOUR WAY. Early this morning, Chesapeake Fire Units reported to the Burger King located in the 1600 block of South Military Highway. Crews arrived to find smoke coming from inside the building. Fire crews were able to contain the fire to an attached storage unit on the restaurant, and by 5:48am the fire was under control. No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the blaze is still under investigation. The Local has also learned that Burger King did not suffer a large loss of merchandise due to the fact that most of their food is char broiled over an open flame any way.
