HAVE YOU EATEN ENOUGH? Then the angel of the Lord came again and touched him and said, Get up and eat some more, or the journey ahead will be too much for you.” (1 Kings 19:7,NLT) There is a saying that life is a journey; and I can not agree less. We are surely heading somewhere and we shall get there one day. But whether or not we would arrive at our destination is also dependent on what and how much food we eat. If you know where you are going and what assignment you have been given, you would not eat anything and anyhow. “Did someone bring him food while we were gone? the disciples asked each other. Then Jesus explained: My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work. (Jn. 4:33-34,NLT). To nourish your spirit the Bible says: As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. (2 Pet. 2:2,KJV). Arise and eat, for the journey is long. Have you eaten?
