HC about Katniss and Peeta with their kids because it was requested! :3 As always, your comments are welcome, keep them positive! ^_^ ~Dandelion The little girl with dark hair and blue eyes watches her Mummy and Daddy thinking that they look really beautiful when they stand in the sun. Her Daddy’s yellow hair sparkles like gold and her Mummy’s eyes look like silver diamonds. Her little brother has the same hair as Daddy and the same eyes as Mummy. He looks all sparkly in the sun too! She giggles, a pretty, twinkly sound, at the thought of a sparkly brother, covered in glitter and rainbows. She runs towards her parents, combing her delicate fingers through the tall grass and flowers of the Meadow. He mother turns around, her arms outstretched to her, a beaming smile plain on her face. “Come on, baby! Run faster! Come on, I’ll catch you!” she calls, motioning with her hands for the girl to jump into her arms. Encouraged by her mother’s words, she pushes her legs harder, running, running, running. She gets closer, bends her knees and jumps. “Yaaay!” she squeals, her voice like chimes as her mother catches her. The two spin around in an embrace, both giggling; a chorus of happiness. They twirl and twirl until they collapse onto the soft grass and laugh as if the moment could not be any more blissful. “Whoa, girls!” the father’s deep voice laughs. “Getting a little dizzy are we?” “Me too, me too!” croons the little boy, bouncing along on chubby little legs. His father lifts him up into strong arms, saying “Come on, then! Up you go!” as he lifts the blonde boy onto his shoulders. “Spin, Daddy! Spin!” he trills, pulling at the blonde curls atop his father head. “Alright! You better hold on tight, you little rascal!” Just like his wife and daughter, Peeta Mellark spins round and round, the laughter of his son filling the air like the glitter of fireflies. And, just like his wife and daughter, he falls to the ground in fits of laughter, pulling his son from his shoulders and cradling him into his chest as he lands. “It’s this leg, Katniss, I swear! I will never get used to it!” he beams as his wife laughs at him. “Daddy!” the girl says, “You can’t keep blaming your leg for everything!” “Oh, I’m pretty sure I can, princess!” he winks at her, pulling his family into his arms as they all laugh and giggle in their perfect little moment.
