HC orders T-Govt. to constitute committee to assess the damages of Kishan Bagh Communal riots Monday, 20 October 2014 Share on facebookRecommend Share on twitterTwitter Print Pdf Comments(0) Hyderabad, October 20: Chief Justice of Hyderabad High Court, Justice Kalyan Jyothi Sengupta issued an order to Govt. of Telangana to constitute a committee with in 6weeks to assess the damages caused during Kishan Bagh Communal riots. This order was issued on the Public Interest Litigation application filed by Ghulam Rabbani, advocate. High Court also issued orders to complete the work of assessment of damages within 6 months. It may be mentioned that on 14th May of this year communal riots broke out in Sikh chowni of Kishan Bagh in which it was alleged that Sikhs attack the properties of minority community. In order to control the agitating mob, Border Security force cops has opened fire in which 3 persons were killed and 20 persons were injured. --Siasat News
