HE AROSE Now we celebrate Easter is the season Christ has conquered He conquered even death What more can one conquer If death itself died And life takes over permanently? Not minding false witnesses Not minding fake judgment Not minding the ill treatment Not minding the mindless gossips Not minding him being cajoled Not minding being spat upon Not minding being asked: Where is your God? He arose from such injustice He arose from death’s pangs Yes, he arose that we might live! Are you having problems? Do your friends despise you? Do your colleagues mock you? Do your relatives cajole you? Do you see life today as unfair? Do you see your efforts nullified? Take a deep breath, my dearie Jesus left those things on the cross You shall arise and drop them behind! He arose to protect you He arose to defend you He arose to set you free.
