HE CRIES FOR HIS BABIES WHO WERE HIS LIFE...Man had to go to Nursing Home...Desperate Plea for his Chi Babies....PLEASE SHARE...This is beyond sad and in another county with no animal services here in Ga. Please see the e-mail I received from a lady in a neighboring county for these four precious little ones....The black and tan baby has seizures and is on medication. On Tuesday, Dec. 9, I received a call from an EMS worker regarding a elderly man in my county that had to go to a nursing home. The man was devastated and crying because he had 4 Chihuahuas that was his life. He lost his teenage daughter several years ago in a car wreck on her way to school and had no family or friends to take his babies. The EMS worker had called the city pound and was told he just needed to turn the dogs a loose. The man was refusing to go to the nursing home knowing that if he went home he would die. I told them I would go get the babies not knowing what I would do with them when I got them--but had to do something. I have 4 rescued dogs of my own and had to put them in my hothouse to keep them so they would have heat and shelter. I have affixed a pen so they can go out during the day. I contacted the vet, all are up to date on shots, both girls have been spayed and one of the boys have been neutered. They range from 6 to 8 years old and 1 has seizures. They are scared right now and aggressive. I am having trouble getting the medication in the one with seizures. I have checked on the man at the nursing home and he still cries for this babies. I assure him they we will find good homes for them.
