The Head Chef role.... We are seeking a hands-on Head Chef, to become part of this exciting new venture. This is a unique opportunity that demands flair, talent, a passion for good food locally source food and an aptitude for leading a team. This is an opportunity to design a new food concept, production and presentation of food. The role is a golden opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to put their mark on this business from the start utilising the great locally sourced produce the county has to offer. As Head Chef you will be responsible for the recruitment, training, organisation and motivation of your talented team especially during the new menu stage and constantly thereafter you will be expected to contribute your ideas, skills and experience. Thereafter being part of the leadership team maintaining and driving standards and exceeding customer’s expectations. The Head Chef must have at least 3 years experience as Sous Chef (or above) within a high quality environment. The minimum qualifications you will hold are, City & Guilds 706/1+2 or equivalent, and an advanced food safety certificate. Master craftsman membership of the Craft Guild of Chefs (or similar) is desirable. Therefore we are looking for a unique individual with bags of charisma and drive who can recruit a like-minded team of individuals who can offer the very highest standards and delivery.
