HEAD OF VISUAL ARTS We seek an innovative and creative professional with a thorough knowledge of and passion for the practical and theoretical facets of teaching Art to lead a team of Art teachers in making Art a vibrant subject for boys. A clear vision for Art teaching in a boys school coupled with excellent leadership skills will be essential. The post will require an energetic individual with drive and determination to begin in April 2015. Minimum requirements for the position are: A degree A professional teaching qualification SACE membership Proven successful teaching experience with Grades 8 to 12 in the IEB curriculum Strong administrative and organisational skills Leadership experience Duties will include teaching a range of Art classes, managing the staff and budgets of the Art department, involvement in co-curricular activities as well as pastoral duties.
