HEALTHY AND HANDSOME ★ ALISTAIR ★ IS LONGING FOR A HOME ** Needs an experienced owner to give him a chance ** Take a look at this very handsome boy who has no clue why he’s sitting in a cage at Manhattan ACC. Brought in by someone who says they found him running loose, nobody ever came to get Alistair and he’s more confused than ever. In decent health except for some nicks on his face, he needs a real good bath—perhaps he was out there on his own for a while? Alistair wasnt sure about being slapped on the butt during his eval, or having a stranger put him on a rope. But now look at the other items—he was just fine with the big plastic hand that took his food and toys, and when that strange dog came into the room-he was cool with it. So tonight, Alistair needs an experienced person who understands that he’s scared and not trusting of too many strangers trying to poke and prod him. He needs someone who recognizes that underneath that defensive bravado there’s a gorgeous young dog who just wants to be a dog. He needs that special someone who will give him time to recover from his ordeal, who will show him that there are some pretty great humans in the world and someone who will smile from ear to ear when Alistair comes up to give them a big doggie kiss. If that’s you, then start applying to rescues to foster or adopt Alistair. But do it now—tomorrow, ACC will take scared Alistair down that hall and then he’ll be gone forever.
