HEAR FROM HIM FIRST Please always endeavour to hear from God first before embarking on any project or service in His name. No matter how much you love Him and care for Him, every thing we do for Him must come from Thus saith the Lord. David shared his heart with Nathan the prophet, about his conviction and desire to build a befitting house for God since himself was already dwelling in one. Nathan, as a man, responded to David to do all that was in his heart for God. But on leaving the scene of that conversation, the God who would be at the center of whatever David wanted to build, sent the prophet back to tell him not to embark on any building for Him; the reason being that his hands had shed much blood. He did not allow him to build Him anything with bloody hands. How many today are building for God with bloody money, bloody lands, and bloody hands, donating to His worshipers without a word from Him? Common, He is not that cheap! As David heard from Him first, it changed his prayer pattern - from petitioning to praising. It saved him time and energy. It saved him from building what could have been rejected even though he meant well. What are the things you are running up and down in the name of God without a word from Him? He will save you time and energy if consulted to know His mind before embarking on them. He might want to use someone else for that same project, maybe your son. Ask Him first. Stop rushing. LETS GO BACK TO THE DUE ORDER.
