HEAR YE, HEAR YE. I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT!!! I walked into work this morning ready to complete the tasks at hand when I received a text from my supervisor which said, Come see me. (I thought, Oh Lord, what?) I proceed into her office for her only to tell me that she is promoting me to a new position! HALLELUJAH!!! I have been seeking this position for sometime, only for me to be passed by time and time again. It was given to others, who get this, couldnt handle it, and quit! Yes, it was very frustrating and humuliating and painful to always seem to be overlooked, but the Word instructs us to, Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you. 1 Peter 5:7. Oftentimes, we dont want to wait on God. To wait simply means to remain or rest in expectation; to be in readiness. His timing is not our timing. His timing is perfect in every situation that we encounter. A day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day unto our God. Somebody tell your neighbor, WAIT ON THE LORD AND BE OF GOOD COURAGE!!! He may not come when you want Him to, but Hell be there right on time is not just a catchy phrase or cliche...But theres a powerful spiritual application that must be applied in our daily living. Yes, promotion or exaltation certainly does come from God and not man! I am a witness. It simply is my time to be blessed! Wont He do it???DO REMEMBER TO TELL THE LORD THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROMOTION. Thank Him in advance. (Get ready, get ready, get ready) LORD, I THANK YOU!!! Somebody betta catch the overflow.
