HEED TO THE WAKE UP CALL, MY BELOVED NATION Must, 68.8% out of 25 902 824 million people be sleeping for agents of Devil, like, Kwasi Pratt and greedy bastard politicians, be leading the entire nation into destruction? No way! My fellow Ghanaian believers, let’s take the message from Pastor Mensah Otabil, as a message from the Lord to save the Nation from the destruction. I wonder why 68.8 % of Ghanaians who claim to be Christians, be allowing empty-headed people to stop them from listening to our creator. God used his messengers to warn Israel from impending destruction. He used Isaiah, and Co. to warn Israel to stop their sinful act, or… He will bring upon them a disaster. Any truth Christian must have come across some of these verses from these prophets. Then, why should we, as watchmen and women be sleeping, while the thieves have taken over the house? Are these Bible verses below, not example of what Pastor Mensa Otabil said? Then why should Otabil be crucified? The Bible says: Blessed is the nation who’s God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage (Psalm 33:12). And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (Matthew 28:18-19) For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; those nations shall be utterly laid waste. (Isaiah 60:12) He shall judge between many peoples, and shall decide for strong nations far away; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore; (Micah 4:3) If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14) Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. (Proverbs 14:34) “Therefore wait for me,” declares the Lord, “for the day when I rise up to seize the prey. For my decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them my indignation, all my burning anger; for in the fire of my jealousy all the earth shall be consumed. (Zephaniah 3:8) And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. (Genesis 12:2). First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, (1 Timothy 2:1). “Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; (Joel 2:12) And God said to him, “I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come from your own body. (Genesis 35:11) These are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Sons were born to them after the flood. (Genesis 10:1) “I have cut off nations; their battlements are in ruins; I have laid waste their streets so that no one walks in them; their cities have been made desolate, without a man, without an inhabitant. (Zephaniah 3:6) “For behold, I will command, and shake the house of Israel among all the nations as one shakes with a sieve, but no pebble shall fall to the earth. (Amos 9:9) As they go, I will spread over them my net; I will bring them down like birds of the heavens; I will discipline them according to the report made to their congregation. (Hosea 7:12) But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare. (Jeremiah 29:7) Blessed are the people who know the festal shout, who walk, O Lord, in the light of your face, who exult in your name all the day and in your righteousness are exalted. For you are the glories of their strength; by your favor our horn is exalted. For our shield belongs to the Lord, our king to the Holy One of Israel. (Psalm 89:15-18) They would not take the message serious, and after the destruction , then you will hear them saying ; O God, why do you cast us off forever? Why does your anger smoke against the sheep of your pasture? Remember your congregation, which you have purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your heritage! Remember Mount Zion, where you have dwelt. Direct your steps to the perpetual ruins; the enemy has destroyed everything in the sanctuary! Your foes have roared in the midst of your meeting place; they set up their own signs for signs. They were like those who swing axes in a forest of trees. ... Instead of you to sit down and cry with earnest prayers for God to showers his mercies on the country, they spending all those time and energies on Radio and TV station, throwing an insult to the person who has done nothing wrong. The bible says; lack of knowledge people perishes. As soon as I heard these words I sat down and wept and mourned for days, and I continued fasting and praying before the God of heaven. And I said, “O Lord God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, let your ear be attentive and your eyes open, to hear the prayer of your servant that I now pray before you day and night for the people of Israel your servants, confessing the sins of the people of Israel, which we have sinned against you. Even my father’s house and I have sinned. We have acted very corruptly against you and have not kept the commandments, the statutes, and the rules that you commanded your servant Moses. Remember the word that you commanded your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the peoples, ... (Nehemiah 1:4-11) May God have mercy on us.
