HELL OFFERS NOT A SINGLE MOMENT OF REST! As I sat down one afternoon thinking about life on earth and after death, I asked myself: Why was Hell created? Hell offers not a single moment of rest, and it is eternal. The Bible says in Revelation: 14:11: And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Revelation: 20:10: says: The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. How can someone that God created in His own image end up in this place of torment for ever and ever? WHY WAS HELL CREATED, AND FOR WHOM WAS IT CREATED? The Bible says in Matthew: 25:41: “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Jesus Christ is saying that Hell was created for Satan and his angels; not for those God created in His own image, according to His likeness. WHO ELSE WILL END UP IN HELL? The Psalmist said: The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God. Psalm: 9:17. If you live your life without having anything to do with God, you will die one day and go to a prepared place that has nothing to do with Him. The Bible says in John: 3:18: He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” John: 3:36. Rejecting Jesus Christ the only begotten of the Father will also result in many spending eternity in hell fire. 1John:5:11:12 says: And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. Those who have once accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, but backslid; those who are in Christ Jesus, but still live in iniquity; wolves in sheep’s clothing; and those who are living one foot in the world, and another in Christ Jesus. Revelation: 3:15:16 says: I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. (See also: 1 John: 2:15:17) Luke: 9: 62: says: But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” 2 Timothy: 2:4 says: No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. ( See also:Matt:6:24) Mark: 9:43:44 says: If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— where ‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.’ The Bible says in Matthew: 7:21:23: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (KJV) Hebrews: 10: 37:38: says: “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; “”But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”” 1Peter:1:15:16 says: But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy. Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. Hebrews: 12:14. The Sinners, wicked and unbelievers will end up in hell fire! Except they repent! (See: Rev: 21:8, 1Corinthians:6:9:10, Isaiah: 5:14:15, Job: 8:11:16, Psalm: 50:22) CAN ONE AVOID SPENDING ETERNITY HELL? YES! The Bible says in John: 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God so loved the world that He gave Jesus Christ His Only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life; whoever will not believe in Jesus Christ will certainly perish in hell fire. God has never intended for anyone to perish in the place that He created only for Satan and his fallen angels. (Matthew: 25:41) The Bible says in 2 Peter:3:9: The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1Timothy:2:3:4 John: 3:17 says: For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. One can avoid hell by believing in Jesus Christ the only begotten of the Father God, and by accepting His as Lord and Savior. The Bible says in Romans: 10: 9:10: That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ~Hell can surely be avoided while one still alive on earth, once in hell fire, it will be eternally too little, too late. ~ Words of Jesus Christ: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John: 3:3. In order for someone to enter God’s kingdom, he must be born again. The Bible says in John: 3:7: Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. To be born again simply means: to repent of your sins, to turn away from them and to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior for the salvation of your soul. If you would like to avoid Hell, and to spend your eternity in Heaven with God, come to Him in repentance by praying the salvation prayer with meaning in your heart: God be merciful to me, a sinner. I repent now of all my sins and turn from them, trusting you to wash them away in the Blood Jesus shed on the Cross. Make me a new creation in Christ Jesus, and give me power to live for You from this day forward. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God. (NLT) Remember having a personal relationship with Jesus means you will need to spend time with Him in prayer and regular Bible study.
