Saginaw Police Department/Michigan State Police Major Crimes Unit News Release Michael Duane Lawrence Caught In Las Vegas, NV FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 30 August 2013 Michael Duane Lawrence b/m 03/04/1989 wanted in the homicides of Layla Jones and Angelica Oliverez has been captured in Las Vegas, Nevada by the MSP Fugitive Team and the FBI. He has been lodged and booked in the Clark County Jail and is awaiting transport back to Michigan where he will face charges. This has been a yearlong effort and a great collaboration between law enforcement and community. This could not have happened without constant tips coming in and the involvement of multiple law enforcement agencies in various states. We can only hope that this capture and arrest will bring some peace to the grieving families. ###
