HELLO INTERNET FRIENDS! Allow me to share with you my Glenda experience. Apparently, us here in the south have been hit hard. My city looks like a war zone-- fallen trees, hanging power lines, stripped business signages, zero available flashlights and candles at major supermarkets and sari-sari stores etc.. This is the first time Ive seen this much damage in my area. We had no electricity since Tuesday night and when the power came back on, there was still no internet. Me and my family found amusement in books, board games and telling each other stories. I got to write A LOT as well thanks to the absence of modern technology. Good thing my trusty ol pen and paper were there to keep me company. So yeah, its been a pretty rough week. Hardly slept. But I still managed to do a show last Saturday despite the lack of rest (thanks RAKISTA!). Right now, Im at the neighborhood Internet Shop filled with kids playing DOTA and heaven knows what else. Theyre quite rambunctious but I dont mind. Although I dont plan on staying here for long hahaha (amuy mandirigma). I just wanted to say hi and that me and my family are OK. If you want to reach me, just send me a message here on Facebook and Ill go through it once Im online. :) The power is back on in my village but obviously, our internet connection is zilch. Oh you know whats funny? I got so used to living in the dark that Im not used to turning the lights on anymore hahaha (tipid na sa kuryente). Alright so log-out na ako.
