HELP NEEDED ASAP - MY POST - NEW RESCUE - A man pulled up to my house because he saw that we were dog lovers. We always have our dogs on our front porch with us so he walked up and said he rescued this puppy and took her to the vet and started the treatnemt for Demodex Mange but never finished her medication because he thought she was good (he didnt know to go back for a final skin scrape) so she got worse again over time. Then he was in the process of moving where he had to keep her at a friends house but the friend would only allow her to be on his front porch. Im unsure when she last ate because shes skin and bones. He brought her to my house tonight, after taking her to the Emergency Vet (where they wanted to charge over $500 so he couldnt do anything) when I saw her I was disgusted. She was skin and bones and completely dehydrated with almost no fur. She also has this nasty black poop with blood in it... ): I rushed her inside where I gave her some fluids and called my friend Kimberleigh to come to the rescue. I knew she would know what to do. We bathed her with a special shampoo and covered her in coconut oil. She is on Nutri-drops once every 45 minutes to an hour and on a heating pad. Shes perking up slowly. I really want to bring her to my vets office tomorrow morning, they always get me in there immediately BUT my personal vet is on vacation so I dont know if the office is going to allow me to come in with no money. The only way I can take her in is if I get donations through this site OR called into my vets office tomorrow morning.
