HELP NEEDED FOR UNLISTED MARE ON ZILLAH FEEDLOT! As many of our long time followers know, fine horses, usually tatood, branded & registered, are among the feedlots victims. The vast majority of the time, they are sold to the killbuyer as kill only, no rescue so they cant be traced back to the owner. Once in a while, we get the chance to save one anyway and that is the case today. Samantha needs our help to save a lovely young mare that a sport-horse training home has volunteered to take. She has a laceration on her foot that needs doctored but will not affect her potential. The feedlot owner has set $750 as her price. SHE WILL SHIP TO SLAUGHTER TOMORROW for certain if not paid for.
