HELP NEEDED (Volunteers): Ive been asked to be involved in a pretty cool VIDEO production (a short movie for web viewing) for Trinity Episcopal School. I will basically be DoP (Director of Photography) for the shoot. However, in such a small (but neat!) production, I will not only have to cover cameras and lighting, but also audio (sound). I need an assistant ... or two ... or four !!! - so if you want to volunteer (as Im doing) and learn something about making a short with actors and an actual storyboard in a fun and relaxed atmosphere - let me know. This will be with DSLR cameras with cine lenses and GoPros. I need a boom operator to work a shotgun mic [1 or 2 people]; as well as lighting assistants (called grips) [1 or 2 people]. A camera assistant would be helpful too (called First AC) to work closely with me [1 person]. One of you can even operate the clapper [usually the second AC]. Fun! Need to be available for a couple of afternoons coming up in the next two weeks. PM me for details.
