HELP ... any rescues have a horse sling that they would be willing to loan (with deposit of course)? We have a donkey that was left on a property in need of help. We have fattened her up, however, when we found her she had stage 4 ulcer on hip and stage 3 on elbows and stage 2 & 1 on other points on her body. They are healing slowly but her muscles are so weak she cannot get herself up. It takes 3 people to get her up. The peraon that is trying to get her better has given a lot of time, devotion and love into getting her better. Even the vet had low hopes. Now that she has gained weight its getting harder to get her up. We need a sling to help get her muscles to start helping her again and to allow the ulcers to heal propertly.
