HERE IT IS MY BIG JOB CHANGE REVEAL - Hey I was on TV today (just for a couple seconds) when Fox 13 came to do a story about Animal Coalition Spay Neuter Clinic. This is my new full time job and I love it!!!! I decided Id needed to make some changes in my life. No more working nights at the Emergency Vet till 1am or later, no more emergencies with hysterical pet owners and dying pets, and sadness surrounding me. I have had way too much sickness and dying these past 6 mths with the sudden loss of my Dad and 3 of my dogs and being the sole caretaker of my Mom. However I plan on still helping with the monthly Pet Loss Meeting Tbves sponsors as it has been a huge help to me (Thank you Lisa Godfrey). Animal Coalition is alot closer to my house, a bunch of fantastic happy people work there (thanks Frank Hamilton) and now I have the opportunity to also work part time for The TAMPA BAY ROWDIES! Im still continuing to coordinate a once monthly Spay Neuter Day for feral cats at Animal Coalition (always the 2nd Sunday of the month). Im cutting back on eating out all the time and wasting money as there is some difference in pay from changing jobs from night shift work (harder to find people willing to work at night) to day shift. But like my pal Nikki De France Lucas told me recently your piece of mind and happiness Nan is worth way more than a cut in pay AND THAT IS SO TRUE. I will miss most helping the rescues at Tbves Tampa and the friendships Ive made there for the past 6 + yrs working at the ER Vet with my Co workers and the clients. I am also no longer able to work for Animal Alternatives Veterinary Clinic and I will miss all of them there too. Dr. Meyer and Dr. Lampru have been very good to me over the years. Ill still do some relief shifts if called upon and fill in on the holidays hopefully. And I will continue to help with rescue and do what I can especially by sharing all the lost and found pet posts which Linda Kelecy Sue Cooper Snider Nancy Bryer Latimer and Monika Steidl appreciate for all the counties closest to me (Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco and Hernando). So as you can see I will still be busy just in much less stressful environments! Feel free to call me or message me here regarding any adoptions Ive helped with in the past or anything you may need. Im still going to be around!
