HES HOME........ Ed finally made it home from the hospital this afternoon. He is doing amazingly well with minimal pain. Not happy about staying in bed till visiting nurse comes but I am not comfortable with transferring him until myself and caregivers learn the right way so he doesnt hurt his foot where toe was amputated. So glad he is home even though he did get good care this time and about 6 of the nurses Lisa Bosinec Sonya Killian, Kerri Ann Stedrak-Krystek, Pam Findley, Angel and Terry Davis) are ones I worked with before I retired there. It is so good to see everyone I do miss everyone but this old body does not miss the work I did! I have to give him IV antibiotics through his pic-line in his upper arm. At least this time it will only be 1x a day and 9 AM. I just praise God that he is doing so good and the infection didnt travel further up his foot. Now to get rested up I am getting too old, my bones are tired from those rotten chairs.
