HESSDALEN LIGHT PHENOMENA __________________________ This is the last video that came from Hessdalen (Norway), one and a half months ago. The "skywatcher" was very prompt (and lucky) to video it. And the behaviour of the "light ball" *seems* to be typical of the phenomenon per se. Unfortunately (apart from the promptness and the good faith of the person who reported the phenomenon), almost exactly the same effect can be produced by a Chinese Lantern. This shows that videos and photos taken alone, without any other simultaneous electromagnetic measurement, are almost totally useless from the scientific point of view. If at that time (August 24, 2013) I was so lucky to be there (as I was doing in the past: 1994, 2000, 2001, 2002) at the same time in which the video was taken by this person, I could have quite easily taken simultaneous measurements using my new high resolution echelle optical spectrometer (High-Resolution Slit-Free Direct-Viewing Multiplexing Field Spectrograph) and my VLF-ELF receiver. If the phenomenon produces an effect in the electromagnetic spectrum (10-20.000 Hz) at the same time in which the light is seen, then the hypothesis of the Chinese Lantern *should* be excluded. If it is a Chinese Lantern this can proved and disproved by looking at its optical spectrum (of course we know how it would be). In the absence of such scientific confirmations, nothing new has been added to Science. https://youtube/watch?v=HJ3qzoy5IHg
