HH Aiming to Block Lungu’s Candidacy – Source President of the United Party for National Development Hakainde Hichilema is deeply scared of competing against Edgar Lungu as the PF candidate, and it taking measures to attempt to block his adoption, a source close to the Office of the President Special Directorate tells Zambia Reports. “The UPND leader is afraid that if all goes well in the PF and if Edgar Lungu finally stands as president, it would be very hard for him to beat win the election,” the source said. “We have knowledge that Mr Hichilema further told this to his Members of Parliament and National Management Committee members.” The source continues: “This is the reason why most UPND cadres and some officials have been attacking Edgar with fake stories about him been sick and fainting so that people must not want him.
