HH BAGS 81% IN A MUVI TELEVISION OPINION POLL Opposition UPND presidential candidate Hakainde Hichilema has beaten the ruling PFs candidate Edgar Lungu with a big margin in another opinion poll conducted by Muvi, a private owned Television. The poll results read on Muvi Television evening news on Sunday December 28, 2014 gave Hichilema 81% with Lungu coming distant second with 16%. MMDs Nevers Mumba got 0.8%, Edith Nawakwi of FDD took the fourth position with 0.6%, the rest got 0.0%. A total of 1, 846 people participated by sending text messages to Muvi Television station. The latest results conducted by Zambian Eye released on Saturday, December 27, 2014 gave Hichilema 69.5% (down 4 points from last week’s 73.5%) whereas runner-up Lungu polled 22.7% (up 10 points from last week’s 12.6%). The rest of the candidates only managed a collective vote of less than one percent, while seven percent of the responses where deemed invalid. The poll, which ran from 23-26 December, featured nine candidates who have successfully filed in their nomination papers.
