HHJGA student Alan Xu trying to chase a hybrid to a back left pin position by hitting a big draw that just barely clears the right tree that extends out into the fairway on # 9 at Bear Creek Golf Club. Definitely the right decision if your trying avoid a short sided pitch coming back the other way which is a common result for anyone trying to get to the back pin placements on this hole due to the fact it often requires a fairway wood to get beck there. He got it Just to the front of the green. This is one of the longest playing holes at the club from the tips especially with a breeze coming off the sea which it was. Nice ball striking Alan!
