HI IM EVAN YOAKUM Im a senior student, musician, and an engineer at Watertown High School. I have a passion for everything that I do, whether its playing an awesome show with my band, or coming up with new things to design and make at school. I love working with technology in the manufacturing world. I have many opportunities to work with machinery at my school since we have two HAAS vertical CNC milling centers, an ABB robot arm, manual mills and lathes, a plasma table, laser engraver, 3D printer, plastic injection molders, and the list goes on and on. There is so much to learn and discover. Sometimes I find myself spending many hours of my day in the engineering wing of my school. Having a job at a local manufacturing company makes my life that much better. It gives me the chance to experience manufacturing in the real world.
