HI! Weve been up to a LOT yall We had a family filled week in Washington and Montana! From a great show in Spokane, Kimbers home town stomping grounds, then on to a couple of winner shows in Montana, attended by Shelbys cousins, gramma, mom, dad, aunts and uncle! We launched upward to Alberta, Canada for the Edmonton Folk Music Festival! It was the most fun and we all really enjoyed hanging there seeing old friends and making new friends. Michael Franti and Spearhead happened to be on our plane from Seattle to Edmonton and we had a fabulous day hanging out with them, exchanging stories and downward dog #yoga moves with the guys. We really loved watching our friends from Elephant Revival and sat in with them on the main stage Saturday night. Bonnie, of the Elephants, sat in with us on washboard for our main stage set on Sunday. We had a great workshops Saturday and Sunday with the likes of Foy Vance, Scenic Route to Alaska, Sharon Shannon, Maria Dunn Music & Lizzy Hoyt! Kimber sat in with the amazing and Canadian Juno Award winner Rose Cousins and she had the entire crowd singing along to some of our favorite tunes. Mandolin Orange and Gregory Alan Isakov proved worthy jam buddies late into the night… we actually got kicked out of the festy, but the jam continued until the wee hours, back at the hotel. Now we are back in the states and kicking off our California tour with a SOLD OUT SHOW at The Big Room at Sierra Nevada Restaurant and Brewery.
