HIC is looking for a forever family for Nathan, an almost seven year old boy who is waiting to become part of your wonderful family! This active little boy with his impish grin loves music, reading and playing games. Nathan is described as energetic and extroverted. His mental and physical development appear to be normal and on target. He loves playing with his friends and gets along well with others. He is fond of electric toys and like most little boys, loves cars. He has a very sweet personality and sings when he is happy. He likes to talk to and bonds to people very quickly. Nathan is expressive, loves reading and is very curious about his world. He is willing to try everything he can. This energetic boy was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Defects or CHD. He had a Glenn-shunt procedure when he was a year and a half, and it is possible he will need a second palliative surgery in the future. Nathan’s heart condition does not seem to hamper his zest for life and his ability to tackle what comes his way. His coordination is good and his motor skills are normal.
