HILLARY THE BUTCHER OF BENGAZHI Clinton’s Being Rebranded As “Honest” for Hillary Run in 2016? Um…THIS IS NOT A PARODY!!! November 15, 2013 “Politichicks” by Katie Abercrombie Is the left turning on President Obama? With the complete meltdown of the rollout of Obamacare, it looks like the mainstream media is finally recognizing what many of us have known all along: Obamacare won’t work and our President has been lying to us about it. Even before this debacle, however, the tide was turning against the president. In May, Politico pointed out that “with the Obama administration facing three scandals simultaneously, Benghazi-gate, IRS-gate, and AP-gate,” supporters of the administration were beginning to jump ship. So as President Obama’s approval ratings continue their Obamacare-fueled slide, who on the left will benefit? Well, Hillary Clinton, of course. MSNBC’s Ronan Farrow pointed out on The Cycle, “…[the Clintons] represent a style of honesty that the public craves right now.” Wait. What? The Clintons and “style of honesty” mentioned in the same sentence? How laughable is that? Bill and Hillary Clinton are known for their decidedly tenuous relationship with the truth. Hillary’s most recent whoppers related to the Benghazi scandal are only the tip of the iceberg. Long before “Clinton” was a household name, Hillary Rodham served on the Watergate investigation committee, where she was fired by her supervisor, now-retired general -counsel and chief of staff of the Judiciary Committee, Jerry Zeifman, who then refused even to give her a letter of recommendation. Why? “Because she was a liar… She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee, and the rules of confidentiality.” In a scheme to deny President Nixon his right to legal counsel, Rodham wrote a fraudulent legal brief and then confiscated public documents to hide her deception. During their time in Arkansas, both Bill and Hillary Clinton taught law at the University of Arkansas. Bill was elected attorney general, then governor, while Hillary joined the prestigious Rose Law firm. Scandal followed them there, or, rather, they generated scandal there as well, with their involvement in the Whitewater real estate deal. Their business partner, Jim McDougal, took the fall and went to prison after a special investigation started by Attorney General Janet Reno. Investigators looking into Whitewater subpoenaed the records of Hillary’s clients at the Rose Law Firm for years before the missing records finally just turned up on a coffee table in the private residence of the White House in 1996. During her testimony before a House investigative committee, she reportedly said, “I do not recall” fifty times. Also during her tenure in Arkansas, Hillary Clinton was able to turn a $1000 investment in cattle futures into a $100,000 profit in only nine months. Just by studying the Wall Street Journal, she was able to accomplish this feat that had odds of one in 250 million. She really must be the smartest woman in the world! Moving on to the White House, the Clinton administration was sanctioned for a cover-up involving Hillary’s health care task force. It was also discovered that they made a habit of requesting that FBI files on individuals (often Reagan and Bush appointees) be sent over to the White House for review. Up to 900 people had their privacy violated in this way. However, it was after the Travelgate scandal that New York Times columnist Bill Safire labeled Hillary “a congenital liar.” He is (was) not alone in noting that the Clintons have a propensity and a talent for avoiding the truth. Fellow democrat Bob Kerrey noted in 1996 that “[Bill] Clinton’s an unusually good liar.” Neil Snyder, in the American Thinker blog, points out that “after serving for four years as secretary of state, Hillary may not be as good a liar as Bill, but she’s no slouch either.” She would have to be delusional or a complete liar to say what she said in her farewell address to the state department staff on February 1, 2013: “I’m so grateful that we’ve had a chance to contribute in each of our ways to making our country and our world stronger, safer, fairer, and better.” Our world is stronger and safer after Hillary Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State? Not really. We lost an ambassador on her watch due to her negligence, and it does matter. The Middle East is in turmoil and Iran is close to becoming a nuclear power. More Americans than ever are depending on government handouts, people are losing their insurance or facing huge price increases, and we are moving toward a part-time workforce. Our relationships with other nations did not improve during her tenure at the State Department, and her handling of the Benghazi debacle did not inspire confidence. Clearly, our president and his administration have no problem with lying to us and telling us what they think we want to hear. Even the mainstream media have had about enough of the scandals and the lies. It’s unfortunate that they waited until Obama was safely ensconced in another four-year term before they decided to face the truth, but I believe that was by design. Now they can complain about how awful he is and how dishonest he and his administration are, while lifting up Hillary Clinton as the “honest, experienced breath of fresh air” we need to get us out of this mess. Do not believe it. After a second term of President Obama, America will be ready for a new type of honesty. Unfortunately, Hillary Clinton can’t claim that ‘honesty’ title.
