HINTS AND TIPS USING AS3 ON FACEBOOK 1. In the main group it is possible for your other Facebook buddies and family to see your posts 2. We have a rant room...a closed group of quitters who want to let rip and not have the constraint of “Auntie Eva and Uncle Walter” watching. 3. There is a long tradition of RANTING on AS3 we used to mark them out of ten for swear words, NEW swear words, Threats of violence and any other creative insults that could be hurled ! 4. Ask to join if that is your want 5. In Facebook groups you can search past posts. It’s the little magnifying glass in the top right hand corner, The bottom right of the picture we have up there ...yes that’s that one ! right now click it and type in the keyword in the text box that appears the thing you want to search for....For instance try typing in “Aaron Stephens audio” and listen to Aaron read easyway by Alan Carr....Awesome ! 6. Notifications.... you can adjust them by clicking the Notifications box (upper right of the page by the magnifying glass) and ticking the one you want. 7. There is a history of giving spammers a hard time on AS3 this goes back to the days when there was no filters at all ...Some girls who you would think “butter wouldn’t melt in their mouths” used to make me wince. Nowadays with social media blogger spammers they are harder to spot so we usually give warnings... 8. There are fall outs and dramas from time to time....we are quitting smoking here and nerves are jagged, it’s to be expected. But let’s try to keep on mission ...it’s all about the quitting ! 9. There is no pecking order in AS3 it’s only as good as it’s new members...I am in awe of the founders of it and we should all try to carry that non judgmental all embracing support forward if we can and want...So take what you need and leave the rest. 10. For total anonymity create a Facebook profile with a fake name and post away. This will not give you Carte blanche to be a pain in the arse you are still on your word. If you cause bother you stand a good chance of getting bounced out.
