HIS ROD & STAFF STILL WORK TODAY!!! . In Psalm 23:4, the psalmist David said... Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. . The rod & staff, in this context represents the Holy Spirit & Gods Word at work in our lives!! --Truly they are a source of strength & comfort for us, today! --Thats something that a lot of Christians do not seem to remember when it comes to facing hard trials!! And sometimes we all are guilty of that! . Those precious moments in prayer & the Word mean a lot to me. ---We can communion with Him [in prayer & worship] right in the midst of the valley!!! ---After all... praise & worship should be a major element of our lives… Even when things are going wrong! -----------So if your boss is in a bad mood… Your gas tank & bank account are both on empty… & fiery darts are being hurled at you, from all directions at once… let HIS ROD & STAFF bring comfort & strength to you!!! // ---You can pray, worship, & meditate upon HIS Precious Word, right within the Sanctuary of your own heart!!! [See Psalm 99:5]. . But the blessing of His Rod & Staff doesn’t end there!!! ---The psalmist goes on to say in Psalm 23:5... Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. // ----What a thought, that He will give us overflowing blessings & strength in our souls... even in the presence of our enemies!!! ---His Rod & Staff still work for us, today!!! ---–HALLELUJAH!!!
