HOLINESS DAILY DEVOTIONAL LESSON 14 TOPIC- THE CHRISTIANS PURITY, PERSEVERANCE AND CONSECRATION TEXT- REV 3:8-10 KEY VERSE: (1 THES 4:7) For God hath not called us unto uncleanness but unto holiness The Lord sets an open door before a pure, persevering church. This church had kept Christs word and had not denied His name when their adversaries and persecutors brought much pressure upon the ministers and the members. They seemed to have a little strength, but little is mighty when God is in it. Just like a little divine faith can move mountains and find nothing impossible, A little divine strength can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Faithfulness with the little we have opens a door of more opportunities in ministry for us. Intense persecution had come on the church from professing religious people making false claims but the church had remained loyal to the cause of Christ. The Lord promised to subdue the enemies of truth under His faithful people. He was going to prove His love for His consecrated people for all to see. And He will protect and preserve His pure, persevering people from the tribulation which will soon come on the whole world. The Lord Jesus Christ has promised to rapture His righteous, pure, faithful, steadfast church before the great tribulation comes on the whole world. Behold I come quickly The Lord has repeatedly assured us that He is coming again. He will reward everyone according to His knowledge of each believers faithfulness, loyalty, consecration and perseverance in holiness Hold that fast which thou hast that no man take thy crown The conquerors crown awaits all believers who are faithful to the end. Those who are negligent and unfaithful will deprive themselves of eternal rewards and the promised glory. The overcomer will be made a pillar in the eternal temple of God and shall go no more out.
