HOME SWEET HOME!!!! Phew...what a ride!! I was up at 7am yesterday and had my my bags packed at 7:10am lol! I was in the starter blocks all day ready to catapult out the door just waiting for the word. By about 3:30pm the excitement over came me and I feel alseep. The Nurse woke me from a deep sleep at 4:45 pm to tell me the news and all I could muster was a woohoo. No trumpets, no confetti just a warm feeling that I was finally springing the joint. I made it! I dont even know where to begin to thank everyone for all those acts of kindness that got me through this. Every text, call, visit, laugh, meal, surprise, hug and endless loving was the strength from which I drew upon. I am deeply moved and grateful for knowing such wonderful kind-hearted people and I cant possibly name you all. If giving is the meaning of the season, I have had a 1,000 Christmases! So from the bottom of my heart, I am sending out a huge thank you and a lifetime of hugs!!!! Soooooo great to be back to my home; there really is no place like it. I sniffed and checked out every corner, cuddled the cats, rolled in my ducks, bounced on my bed, had a hot bath and enjoyed a dinner with George Daniel! My angels come home from their fathers tomorrow and I cant wait!!! We have some Christmas festivities to get onto!!! Now back to work...yoga, 100M outside walk, light weights...coach Daryl Steeves orders:) But first...a nap with my kitty:)
